Geister Dinosaurier is a death metal band from Germany that asked me to post their EP. I'm not sure what the name really means, but when I typed it in to freetranslator.com it came up with "spirit dinosaur." But besides the German name and lyrics, this band plays kick ass, synth infused, progressive death, so check it out-->

Comp put together by Scott Hull, includes tracks from: Agents of Satan, Brutal Truth, Wastoid, A.S.R.A., Magrudergrind, Chainsaw to the Face, Total Fucking Destruction, Man Will Destroy Himself, Shitstorm, Insect Warfare, Maruta, Spoonful of Vicodin, Kill the Client and Weekend Nachos.

Noisy metal from. . . well I'm not sure where(they say the Heard and McDonald Islands, but those are uninhabited). But its weird and awesome and I've been listening to it a lot lately. Soooo I suggest you do too. . .

Taking their name from a Polynesian sea-god, Tangaroa are a truly unique hybrid of experimental extreme metal and progressive grind. An abhorrent amalgamation of virtuoso technical abilities and incendiary metal riffs that combine a wealth of styles from black metal, grindcore, hardcore and jazz, and push back the boundaries and concepts of song structures, offering a defiant middle finger response to the current wave of tech-metal pretenders to the throne.

THE POWER & THE GLORY walk the fine line between the worlds of crust punk, contemporary metal, epic rock and progressive hardcore. They create a post-everything musical bombardment that prizes intelligence, intensity, and passion. "Call Me Armageddon," the group's debut full length, was released in 2004 on Deathwish Inc. The album is an awe inducing musical juggernaut recorded and produced by Kurt Ballou (Converge, Cave In). They have toured the United States many times and have made appearances in Mexico and all over Europe. The Atlanta, GA based group emerged in 2003 from the reinvention of long-running metallic hardcore stalwarts Downpour.

Technical death metal, but in a much more dissonant way with that modern chaotic hardcore vibe. mucho recomendado!-->
