The holidays can be brutal, so in honor of this I'm posting the discography of arguably the most brutal band to have ever existed. Enjoy-->>
The newest one from the creators of "wigger-slam." Although this album is obviously not going to be some opus, I think it's some pretty good straight up brutal slam, and is a step up from their first album. Plus the artwork's fucking awesome . . .
Vomitous play uber-brutal slam death . . . and are Swedish go figure.
Here's some brutal slamming death from Moscow. They remind me a lot of fellow Russians Abominable Putridity.
Pathology plays some pretty awesome slamming/brutal death and interestingly enough are signed to Victory records. To me this sounds like a stronger release than their previous album, plus the re-animator artwork is the shit.
I mentioned this band earlier in the Fields of Elysium and decided I might as well go ahead and post their full length. Pretty awesome tech stuff. The production is not so great, but not all of us can afford to get in awesome studios. But it's pretty cool nonetheless-->>
Fields of Elysium, along with Vale of Miscreation, are pretty much the leaders of the whole tech death scene out in New Mexico. One of my friend's band used to play with them all the time in Amarillo, and I guess they're pretty cool guys. Anyway, if you like tech death with lots of clean breaks then this is right up your alley.
I've been in an Unique Leader/Brutal Slam mood lately, so here's some more Japanese guttural slam for ya-->>
I heard this demo a couple of years ago and it stuck with me. Jenovavirus is some crazy awesome Japanese slam, with some cool atmospheric and experimental parts added in for good measure.
Awesome brutal slam from my(hopefully) future home town; Austin, Tx. If you like Devourment, then you will definitely love this band(they even did a split together back in '08)-->>
