A (not so) Triumphant Return
ok so its been awhile since i've posted on any regular basis or posted at all really. I made many pleas for some participation by my readers in the form of comments which came to nought and left me feeling like this was all a waste of time. So heres another chance for you fuckers. Should i start posting again? If I get any sort of real reaction/response to this then i'll consider it. Otherwise keep getting your music from the websites that post endless amounts of music they've never heard, dont care about and cant take two minutes to write about. And on top of that have the audacity to ask you to donate money to them so they can make a profit off the artists.

I use this blog as a reference for new music quite a lot!!
Thanks,

One of my favorite blogs good sir.
Even just a post a month is enough for me.
Love from Iowa
Agreed, I appreciate your take on new music and I would be stoked to see more reviews! However, definitely understand the struggle with reader participation / motivation. As you can see I'm posting anonymously and only writing 3 sentences...

keep posting! find a ton of good metal on here, and your reviews are actually informative, unlike other blogs that don't post reviews at all, or just write dumb stuff like "this rules". you may not realize, but a critical opinion is very rare.
Please keep posting! I subscribe to many metal blogs but I find yours unique in terms of quality recommendations.
ya gotta remember, for every one of us that writes, there are 20 or more who read the blog that can't be bothered...
Shit is disappearing by the minute. Three of my regular vists were gone yesterday...
KEEP IT UP.
It IS appreciated.
I always appreciate the effort put into blogs like yours. I may not post much in the way of responses, but that's primarily due to a busy life and tiring work. However I feel that blogs like this one are rare in that yes, the message was spread about quality bands that deserve attention and offered much in the way of information and opinion that I value. I wish the heyday of the blogosphere was still upon us, but alas finding the real gems and knowing what's going on in these scenes can be a daunting task. I still go over old sites reading through the backlog so as to not forget bands that I still need to check out, as well as enjoying the writing that accompanies the posts.
tl;dr Your blog is cool, you'll always have a reader in me, I'd love to see you make a comeback.
I'm from Costa Rica and I check this blog regularly. Would be a shame to see it close. Keep it going man!
keep on posting please!
let's keep the underground / independant blogging alive! (i write myself a blog called Blasting days).
it's cool when people comment, but nevermind if they don't, just do it for yourself, if and when it please you to do so..
yer absolutely right, i should do it for myself and to promote bands i like...i just wanna know that people are actually reading or visiting...anyway the (few) people have spoken and i'm def gonna start posting again
good!
i'll appreciate reading you again!
Come on! Love this blog! Got into lots of good stuff as a result!
Cheers from Greece man!Glad you decided to keep posting!
Hey Man,
Keep up the good work and definitely dig some of these posts. I have a new blog: http://thegraveraider.blogspot.com. Its brand new and im looking for help to make it grow. For any fans of blackened death metal or atmospheric black metal
Thanks for all your hard work. I enjoy blogs like yours very much and i am sure it sucks that people don't leave a comment, but i just want you to rest assured that i am very thankful for your blog and to any other bloggers out there for sharing kick ass music and what you love.
Sincerely, Kurt :-)
