NOT the cheesy metalcore band of the same name, this Elitist are from Portland, Oregon and they channel the nihilistic sludge of Eyehategod and add unhealthy doses of crusty death metal and blackened grindcore. Savage in their execution and unrepentant in their mission to sonically murder you, this is no holds barred aural brutality. Whether they are slowly stomping your guts out or blasting your brains through the back of your skull with a sort of sloppy precision, a few things become painfully clear. There is NO beauty, life is pain and humanity is a virus that needs to be erased. This is the soundtrack to the psyche of a meth head that’s been awake for two weeks and has blood on his rotten teeth and needles in his eyes, stalking the streets with a twelve-inch blade on his hip just hoping someone looks at him the wrong way.
