Time to go back to 1993 and revisit a criminally underrated album by a criminally underrated band. Anacrusis started as a thrash band in 1986 and by the time they released this, their last album, they had transformed into a different beast. I'm not gonna spend a lot of time describing this because i don't have the time today, my daughter wants to have a tea party. Just listen to that guitar tone on the song below. If you don't like Anacrusis then your soul is dead.

Saw them on this tour and it was astounding. I think these days I prefer Manic Impressions, but this is an incredible record nonetheless

...and it was with Cathedral, Flotsam and Jetsam, and the recently reunited Mercyful Fate before they got that bass player that played with a pick. There just aren't shows like that in the states anymore!
