Desolate Shrine- The Sanctum of Human Darkness

Photobucket

From: Finland
Year: 2012
Genre: Death Metal

HUGE. Thats all i can say when hearing this. it envelops you. it pushes everything else from your mind and fills it with an aggressively dark beauty that puts 90 percent of all other DM releases this year to shame. Very riff centric it manages to create an epic ominous atmosphere while battering you with riffs that you wont soon forget.I really cant emphasize how fucking huge this album sounds. Like the onslaught of some unholy army that plans to leave ash and ruin in its wake. Tempos vary, clean riffs tease you with brief lulls before the destruction begins anew. Unrelenting and savage, whether blasting or slowly tearing you to shreds, these guys do it with more conviction than just about any band out there. In fact. Forget that Horrendous album everyone is talking about (that was a bit extreme cus i do enjoy that album but everyone seems to be acting like its the second coming of DM). Desolate Shrine have created one of the most intense death metal albums of the year, And even though i doubt they'll get the credit they deserve,,,,this album slays and deserves to be mentioned in every top ten death metal list this year. Unfortunately i cant find a link right now but keep checking back. In the mean time preorder from Dark Descent. Or stream the entire album by clicking download link below.

I still can't seem to find a link myself, which seems fair considering it's set to release on the 15th.

Also a heads up, the title says "Desolate Shine" and Year: Finland #(haha which had me laughing out loud at the notion)

Hahahah. Thanks. I was a bit drunk when I posted. I'll have to fix it later.
